Following its debut of Chainsaw Suite, independent audio developer Avalanche Tones has officially released its second guitar plugin tool. Engineered specifically for metalcore, djent, and thall production, Noise Suite gives producers and guitarists a dedicated workspace for creating chaotic textures and aggressive sound design elements.
Noise Suite is a modular effects plugin packed with experimental modules, including pitch shifters, frequency shifters, ring mods, tape stop, freeze, glitch delay, and a self-oscillating analog delay. Creators can stack up to 10 modules, drag to reorder their signal chain, and map every parameter to MIDI or DAW automation for complete control.
17-year-old musician, songwriter, and studio producer, Ava Toton, founded Avalanche Tones with the philosophy of building modular, utility-driven software. Noise Suite delivers 18 purpose-built modules that assist in creating chaotic, atmospheric noises and transitions that cut through dense, high-gain mixes.
Ava Toton, founder and developer of Avalanche Tones, on the inspiration behind Noise Suite:
“Noise Suite was created to complement Chainsaw Suite. Chainsaw Suite shapes the tones, while Noise Suite creates the noises, but they can also work independently of each other. This is why I released them so close together. I’ve envisioned Noise Suite for at least a year, but felt like it might be a bit ambitious for me to be my first release, so I started with Chainsaw Suite to work out the processes. Creating and releasing Noise Suite has been a dream come true.
This is just the beginning for Avalanche Tones. In the future, I’d like to develop cross-genre plug-ins, partner with artists to create signature plug-ins, and perhaps delve into physical hardware such as pedals.”
Noise Suite for Windows and macOS (VST3/AU) is available to purchase for $39.99 USD. A 7-day free trial option is available to try the plugin.
