Baby Audio has announced an update to the TAIP tape emulation that combines an authentic vintage sound with a modern feature set.

Version 1.0.1 fixes two known bugs and adds a few extra presets by David Nakaji.

Tape recordings have a musical quality that digital mixes often lack. TAIP brings this quality into your DAW. It will add some authentic analog heat to your tracks, without the need to route any audio outside the box.

Changes in TAIP v1.0.1

  • Fixed: The VST3 version would sometimes forget saved settings between sessions.
  • Fixed: An internal HPF was not bypassed when the plugin was in bypass mode.
  • 7 new presets created by David Nakaji.

Version 1.0.1 is available to owners of the full version, and the trial version has also been updated.

TAIP for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is available from Baby Audio and distributor Plugin Boutique at an introductory price of $39 USD until November 14th, 2021 (regular $69 USD).
