Baby Audio has announced the release of a major update to its analog-style drum synth designed to help users craft deep electronic drums with authentic circuit-modeling and expansive sound design possibilities.
Version 1.1 of Tekno is a comprehensive update with a long list of enhancements including the most requested feature—an onboard sequencer.
Tekno’s new sequencer view gives producers an inspiring beat creation environment directly inside the plugin. With dedicated lanes for all 18 voices and up to 32 steps per lane, the sequencer offers creative features like smart randomization, shortenable lanes for polyrhythms, speed multipliers and hit chance.
Other major improvements sourced directly from user feedback include global undo/redo, full kit sample export and 4 available choke groups.
Changes in Tekno v1.1
- New Sequencer mode.
- New choke groups feature.
- Freely assignable MIDI mappings.
- New global undo/redo option.
- Per-voice Humanize option.
- Full kit sample export.
- Per-voice randomization lock.
- Copy and paste equivalent voices (Tom L&H, Conga L&H).
