Blind Audio has introduced a gritty tribute to the golden era of hardware sampling.
Every loop and one-shot in Monoform: LOFI Acid has been meticulously processed through vintage 8-bit and 16-bit monophonic samplers to capture a raw, authentic character.
By leaning into the natural limitations of retro gear, these sounds are deeply baked with classic sample rate reduction, bitcrushing, and analog-style filtering that radiates lo-fi charm.
To ensure these sounds thrive in a contemporary environment, each element was brought back into the digital realm for further elective processing and modern enhancement. This workflow results in a robust library of unique acid loops that maintain their vintage soul while meeting the high-fidelity demands of today’s sound systems. It is an ideal toolkit for producers looking to add a layer of textured grit and hardware warmth to their tracks.
The sample pack is available to purchase at the Loopmasters store for £19.95 GBP.
