BOOM Library has introduced a new transient shaper for designers and producers who want both punch and control without the usual trade-offs.
Built for sound design, yet equally capable in music production, Transforce features independent processing on attack and sustain, spectral processing that separates tonal content from noise, parametric EQ and saturation per band (on each side), a stylize module, clipper, and limiter.
Most transient shapers were built for music production and adopted into sound design as the closest thing available.
TRANSFORCE starts from the other end. It was designed by sound designers, for sound design, and treats attack and sustain as two separate creative decisions rather than a single blunt adjustment.
Transforce features
- Each side gets its own EQ and saturation, with three-band control and drive per band. Saturate a frequency on the attack and leave the sustain alone.
- Add weight to the low end of a sustain while the attack stays clean.
- The spectral slider isolates tonal resonance from the broadband signal and lets you shape it across attack and sustain independently, so you can pull the harshness out of a metal impact while the ring stays where it belongs.
- A transient section you can monitor and trigger externally.
- Stylize, clipper and limiter to finish.
- Automatable, up to four times oversampling, and look-ahead detection for fast transients.
Available for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and AAX), Transforce is on sale at a 20% introductory discount through July 2nd, 2026 (regular $139 USD). A 14-days full feature trial is available to try the plugin.
