BOOM Library has announced an update to its multi-modular FX processing tool that opens up unlimited possibilities in how you tweak and process your sounds.
Version 1.5 of ENRAGE adds 3 new processing units, and permanently reduces the price from $385 USD to $235 USD.
ENRAGE works differently to a conventional multi-FX plugin. Rather than a fixed signal chain, you build your own – drag devices into the rack, set the routing, and wire up any of the 12 modulation sources to control any parameter. LFOs can drive filter cutoffs. Envelope followers can open and close reverb tails. A transient follower can gate a pitch shifter. The mod sources can also control each other, which is where things get genuinely complex.
The new devices in 1.5 add serious utility:
- Pro Comp brings character-driven dynamics with five compression modes covering everything from clean and transparent to aggressive and slow-attack.
- The Limiter is built to the same quality standard.
- Cosmo Verb is a long, deep reverb – all parameters modulatable, which means it can evolve and shift rather than sit static in the mix.
ENRAGE 1.5 includes 300 factory presets which can serve as starting points, and to see how experienced sound designers have wired things together.
Available in VST/VST3, AU and AAX formats for Windows and macOS, the plugin is on sale for $172 USD / €149 EUR (ex. VAT) until April 7th, 2026. A fully-functional 14-day free trial is available to try ENRAGE.
