Born Second has released an analog-modeled acid synthesizer built at component level on two early-1980s Japanese bassline machines, plus a modern homage design.
BS-203 MacroAcidizer switches instantly between three modes, Classic (303-style), Silver (202-style, steeper envelope and brighter top end), and バスビッチ (a freakier Bassboy-style take), with each mode re-plumbing the mixer and filter sections rather than just changing a filter curve, while the current pattern is preserved across the switch.
