Boz Digital Labs has announced the release of Transgressor 2, an updated and improved version of the Transgressor transient designer plugin.

Transgressor increases or decreases attack and sustain and enables you tonally shape them separately. Version 2 can now trigger transients via MIDI.

Want a lighter or heavier stick? Maybe you need to increase snare resonance without over-accentuating ringing? Perhaps your kick and toms need body without crowding the bass and low mids. Transgressor’s dual, independent equalizers let you do all that and more.

Changes in Transgressor 2

  • Redesigned display and meters let you dial in settings with visual feedback for extra ease.
  • Dual independent four-band equalizers and filters for individual EQ of transient and sustain portions of audio.
  • Improved transient detection for greater accuracy.
  • Transgressor 2 can read MIDI note-on data to insert as transients.

Regularly $149 USD, Transgressor 2 is on sale for the intro price of only $29 USD for a limited time. The plugin comes in VST/VST3, AU, RTAS and AAX formats.
