Loops de la Crème has announced the release of Brute Kicks, a collection of 112 electronic kick samples created with the Drumbrute Impact drum machine by Arturia and various studio gear.
The pack includes lots of raw punchy analog samples as well as a selection of mix-ready amped and layered samples.
The Drumbrute Impact offers a great analog kick reminiscent of the 909 and 808 kicks, with variations in pitch and decay, plus an internal option to add distortion.
Brute Kicks includes:
- 52 raw analog kick samples, directly recorded from the Arturia Drumbrute Impact using a Universal Audio LA610 preamp and a Focusrite ISA TWO preamp.
- 60 mixed and layered kicks, combined with various acoustic and electronic samples (percussions, hi-hats, acoustic kicks, noises…) and then re-amped and mixed using digital and analog gear.
The pack costs 9 EUR. Through July 31st, 2020, Brute Kicks is available as donationware (including free).
