Whisper Strings is derived from the acclaimed Iremia series of intimate solo string textures, which focuses on capturing all the human imperfections in the sound that stand out when you play incredibly soft, to create a truly intimate virtual instrument.
Unlike the original solo libraries, Whisper Strings is designed specifically for expressive two-handed playing, allowing composers to perform rich string arrangements and evolving textures from a single patch.
Re-mixed and balanced across the keyboard for two-handed playing, these strings are equally at home supporting a fragile piano, creating subtle tension under dialogue or carrying an entire cue alone.

Designed for composers working in film, television, games and ambient music, Whisper Strings combines whisper quiet sustains and moving textures within Soundbox’s multi-layer architecture. Users can load up to four sound sources simultaneously and blend or morph between them in real time, creating evolving textures and dynamic string performances from a single instrument.
