Cableguys has released an update to its instant drum layering effect plugin for Windows and Mac.
Version 1.1 of Snapback introduces a new “Reverse” button, enabling users to quickly convert imported samples into custom snapbacks: short snippets of reversed audio triggered just before each drum hit, designed to add subtle groove or impact.
With one click, turn any percussion hit into a signature snapback, create reverse vocal snippets, and unlock fresh creative possibilities.
Each sample’s reversal state is saved and recalled automatically, even if the file is later moved or renamed. The update also expands the number of addressable MIDI ports from 16 to 256.
A free update for existing users, new customers can purchase Snapback for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) for $49 USD at Plugin Boutique and from the Cableguys store.
The plugin is also available as part of the Cableguys Bundle for $179 USD.
