Cableguys has announced an update to its multi-effect plugin for modern mixes and infinite inspiration. Version 3.6.2 of ShaperBox is a maintenance update which fixes some issues.
Changes in ShaperBox v3.6.2
- PitchShaper’s Complex mode could cause a CPU spike when audio resumed after a period of silence.
- When DriveShaper’s Drive was “Off” (static LFO wave at 0%), the distortion was not fully disabled in MIDI and Audio modes. To ensure that the sound of existing projects and presets does not change, they will be loaded with the minimal distortion of the old version.
- In Logic Pro, the mouse cursor could disappear after dragging an LFO wave point.
- With fast modulation speeds, the LFO modulation trace was sometimes not drawn.
- VolumeShaper’s LFO modulation trace could become frozen when using fast LFO speeds with Smooth set to Off.
- Compressor’s Threshold indicator line was scaled incorrectly.
