Cableguys has announced an update to its rhythmic multi-effect suite for Windows and Mac.
Version 3.6.1 of ShaperBox makes the newly released PitchShaper‘s Formant Link, Density and Grain Size available as automation parameters.
It also fixes some issues:
- When a MIDI note was received or an Audio Trigger detected while the input was silent, an audio artifact could be caused.
- When using MIDI or Audio Triggering in VolumeShaper, the oscilloscope was drawn early if Anti-Click Trigger Smoothing was enabled.
- In Logic Pro, the mouse cursor could disappear after dragging a control.
The Snapback drum layering effect has been updated to v1.1.1, which raises the file limit for user samples from 1,000 to 10,000. The update also fixes an issue where folders with hundreds of user samples were not displayed correctly in the menu, and version 1.1.1 no longer supports OS X 10.9-10.14. Customers can still use version 1.1 of Snapback on these older systems, available in the Old Downloads section of your Cableguys account.
Free updates for all existing users, new customers can purchase Snapback for $29 USD (regular $49 USD) and ShaperBox 3 for $89 USD as part of a Black Friday promotion. The offer is available at the Cableguys store and from Plugin Boutique until December 2nd, 2025.
