Caelum Audio has announced an update to two of its compressor audio plugins.
Version 1.1 of the Schlap plugin for heavy, colorful and in your face compression comes with a new color control for adding a characterful satisfying crunch.
Smoov offer a more soft, clean and transparent compression. The update brings a new HF Recovery control, which is a dynamic EQ on higher frequencies to reduce compression for extra smoov-ness.
Additionally, filter listen can now be used on the filtered side chain signal for both of the plugins, and a new mix knob can now dial in parallel compression. The update also includes new presets and various user interface and engine optimizations for both Schlap and Smoov.
Available in VST3, AU and AAX formats, the plugins are on sale for £7.99 GBP each (50% off regular). The offer is valid at Plugin Boutique and from the Caelum Audio store until December 5th, 2022.
