Celemony Musichas announced that with Cubase 15.0.30 and Nuendo 15.0.30, Tonalic is embedded directly in Steinberg’s flagship DAWs through ARA.
The new integration brings the entire library of 30+ session musicians directly into Cubase’s project window – into the Right Zone, where Tonalics can be searched and previewed in context with the project’s chord track and tempo. From there they are dragged onto the timeline, where they can be placed, extended and arranged just like audio and MIDI tracks.
Rearranging parts is especially quick and working with the performances feels as natural as with any other track. The Tonalic engine, built on Melodyne’s DNA technology, adapts the recorded performances in real time, following every chord change, every tempo shift, every musical decision the producer makes.
Customers with an active Cubase Pro 15, Cubase Artist 15 or Nuendo 15 license receive Tonalic essential as a free bundle. Featuring acoustic and electric guitar performances by Uwe Bossert, guitarist of the successful pop-rock band Reamonn (“Supergirl”), Tonalic essential is a perpetual license and serves as the entry point into the Tonalic world, with upgrade paths to the larger Tonalic editions when more musicians, instruments and creative control are needed.
Tonalic also runs in all other major DAWs as a VST3, AU or AAX plug-in. Tonalic is available as a monthly or annual subscription, currently with a 1$/€ introductory offer for the first month. Prepaid licenses with no subscription commitment (for one month or one year) are available through music dealers.
