Cinematique Instruments has introduced two new instrument libraries for the Kontakt sampler platform by Native Instruments.
Offering pure and complex immediacy, Pure features the sounds of clean synthesizers and dirty subtones.
It’s the slow movement, the clarity, and the inner intensity that allow Pure to create tension and radiance without relying on heavy modulation or complex interval structures. Pure is a concentrated collection of synthesizer sounds that create a special atmosphere and intensity through their pure and direct sonic character.
It is this immediacy and radiant presence that lends the sound a unique depth – tones that shimmer with crystal-clear sharpness and cut through the mix with fresh intensity and raw presence. Every note is direct and emotionally alive – right on the ear.
Flux is a rhythm machine which offers an intelligent and unique way to create electronic beats, offering endless rhythmic variation through a smart randomization engine.
It breaks away from convention by completely forgoing snare sounds—yet thanks to its refined sound palette and clever algorithm, it delivers fresh beats that you wouldn’t normally hear, yet are still perfectly suitable for the masses. And astonishing: FLUX doesnt need any Snare, Cymbal or Tom Sound.
At its core, FLUX runs on four independent percussion tracks, each with adjustable sound, decay, and step length. That might not sound revolutionary—but it’s the intentional omission of traditional snares, the carefully curated kick and low-end elements, and the ability to vary the length of each individual step that give FLUX its truly one-of-a-kind character.
Available for the full version of Kontakt 7 or higher, Pure and Flux are priced €39 EUR and €49 EUR, respectively.
