Coretone has recently released an update to its focused AAX sampler that lets Pro Tools users drag or load a one-shot, play it from MIDI, and swap sounds without rebuilding the performance from clips.
Version 1.1.1 of Core Sampler adds unified Undo/Redo for sample loads and sound-shaping edits, with up to 50 history operations. Continuous knob and control drags are stored as single operations, so exploring edits does not flood the history. The update also improves short-sample voice recovery and reuse of an appropriate released voice when all eight voices are occupied.
The latest build also includes waveform trim and fade controls, chromatic or fixed pitch playback, velocity sensitivity, ADSR shaping, filtering, transpose, fast sample replacement.
Core Sampler for Pro Tools is available to purchase for the launch price of $24 USD through October 31st (regular $39 USD). The update is free for existing users.
