Dabro Music has introduced a new soundset for Xfer Records’ Serum 2 software synthesizer instrument. Created by NAIS to cater to the darker side of bass music, DUAT contains 72 fresh presets built for heavy low end, aggressive mid movement and atmospheric pressure.
DUAT centers on thick subs and bass leads, gritty Reese basses and neuro growls, punchy stabs, ominous pads and razor FX. Designed around 140 BPM for today’s bass sound: fast transients, rich harmonics and a clear, cutting attack.
To hear the presets in context, DUAT includes taster loops: 62 bass loops, 29 drum loops with punchy drums, 25 synth loops and 15 FX loops, plus 7 drum one-shots. Build a sketch in minutes and feel how the presets sit inside a real arrangement.
