DAW Zone has released a free VST3 plugin for Windows that helps music producers, mixing engineers, and sound designers calculate tempo-synced timing values in seconds.
TimeSync was built to solve a common workflow problem in modern production. Delay times, reverb pre-delay, decay timing, tremolo speed, auto-pan movement, and LFO modulation often sound best when they follow the song tempo. Yet many producers still rely on guesswork, rough estimates, or manual calculations when setting these values.
TimeSync removes that friction by instantly converting project BPM into precise, tempo-locked values that users can copy into their favorite audio plugins.
Instead of stopping the creative process to calculate note divisions or search for timing charts, users can enter a BPM manually or sync directly to their DAW and immediately see the correct values for delay, reverb, and modulation.
TimeSync features
- Delay Time Calculator with note divisions from 1/1 to 1/64.
- Straight, dotted, and triplet timing values.
- Reverb Pre-Delay Calculator for cleaner vocal space, drum punch, and depth.
- Reverb Decay Timing Reference for musically timed reverb tails.
- Modulation Rate Calculator that converts BPM into Hz for LFO-based effects.
- DAW sync or manual BPM entry for flexible workflow.
TimeSync is free to download from the DAW Zone website.
