Decomposer has released version 1.0.0 Alpha 2 of Sitala, a free drum sampler instrument.
The plugin comes with 16 sample pads that can be triggered by MIDI notes. Each of the samples has individual controls for shape, compression, tuning and volume. Each pad has solo and mute toggles as well.
Currently two drum kits (808 & 909) are included, but of course you can also load your own samples and save your own kits.
Sitala’s beauty is its simplicity: its four knobs allow you to dial in anything from glitchy micro-house to pumping techno.
The plugin is available in standalone and VST plugin formats for macOS and Windows.

Sorry, but useless without multi-channel support. Besides, what’s the point? Every DAW comes with a built-in sampler with multi-channel support.
