Devicemeister has announced the release of an update to its powerful and versatile polyphonic step sequencer with integrated modulation sequencers.
Version 1.6 of Stepic is a big step forward in how sequences can move, evolve, and stay musical at the same time.
Many of the changes came directly from long-term ideas, experiments, and user feedback, all with one goal in mind: supporting a more fluid and creative sequencing process.
Changes in Stepic v1.6
- Movement & Time: Lane Clock and new Play Order Modes turn timing and step order into powerful creative tools.
- Control over Randomness: Lane Link keeps random elements connected and musically coherent.
- Expression & Musicality: Legato Steps enable portamento glides, acid-style slides, and expressive phrasing.
- Transformation & Variation: Sequence Transform tools help you reshape and evolve ideas without losing their musical foundation.
- Workflow & Memory: An integrated Preset System, Undo / Redo, and Drag & Drop Pattern Copy make experimenting faster and safer.
Stepic is available in VST3 and AU plugin formats for Windows and Mac for €39 EUR. Stepic for Ableton Live is also €39 EUR, and a bundle of both is €49 EUR. The update is free for all existing users.
