DROP_OUT audio has introduced a new lo-fi delay effect modeled after a cult-classic toy synth delay.
MonoDelay features a monophonic synth section, PT2399-style delay chip behavior, an MS20-style filter, a (recordable) ribbon MIDI keyboard and a routable LFO section.
It mimics a cheap signal path, meaning the dynamic constraints, noise floor and degradation are modeled rather than smoothed out. This results in an instrument that can be used as a synth, an effect unit or as an interesting noise generator.
Available as an effect and instrument for Windows and macOS (VST3 and AU), MonoDelay is on sale for the intro price of €39/$45 until July 15th, 2026 (regular €49 EUR). A 14-day full-featured trial is available to try the plugin.
