EastWest Sounds has announced the release of a major new update for the Hollywood Orchestra series, bringing powerful new features and refinements to all instruments in the collection, including Hollywood Strings, Brass, Orchestral Woodwinds, Orchestral Percussion, Solo Violin, Solo Cello and Harp.
The highlight of the update is Movie Mixes, which are curated, film-ready mixes that adjust mic balance, reverb, and per-instrument EQ, letting you dial in cinematic sound instantly while keeping full compatibility with existing sessions. The update also adds Alternative Scales, refreshed interface artwork, and performance refinements across the entire series.

Existing users can download the update now via the EastWest Installation Center (requires Opus v1.6.2 or higher). New customers can purchase the updated instrument libraries at a discount during a Holiday Sale, which is available at the EastWest store, and from distributors such as Plugin Boutique and AudioDeluxe. The promotion expires January 17th, 2026.
