Evertone Project has introduced a new standalone software for Windows and macOS which is designed to suppress bleed in multitrack drum recordings.
Pro DeBleed separates by spectral content instead of amplitude, allowing ghost notes and dynamics to stay intact while the spill disappears.
Using NMF (non-negative matrix factorization) source separation, Pro DeBleed suppresses the hi-hat and cymbal spill captured by your snare mic — without degrading the drum itself.
Whether you want “aggressive removal at some cost to fidelity” — ideal for heavy post-processing or extracting trigger signals — or “natural, quality-preserving suppression” that sounds like it was tracked with advanced separation technique, you dial it in by hand while monitoring in real time and watching the result.
Pro DeBleed features
- Focus / Fine Tune: Two large knobs — red and blue — give intuitive control over separation strength and character, in the spirit of DRUMATOM 2.
- Attack / Tilt / Smooth: Three mini knobs for transient preservation, frequency balance, and mask smoothness — refine the result note by note.
- 8-Band Interactive EQ: Visualize and adjust suppression per frequency band. The SUPPRESSION meter shows exactly where the work is happening.
- Waveform Bleed View: Removed bleed is overlaid in cyan right on the waveform — so you can see exactly what’s being taken out.
- A/B Presets: A/B compare plus named preset save & recall make dialing in fast and repeatable.
- Stereo & Native Quality: Automatic stereo-pair detection. Sample rate and bit depth are preserved natively — no resampling, no quality loss.
The software is available to purchase at Plugin Boutique for an introduction price of $66 USD until July 31st, 2026 (regular $94 USD).
