Dedicated DACS Audio brand F*ck With Sound has announced that it is shipping two new Eurorack modules.
Years ago Aki Nawaz told us he wanted something to “F*ck With The Sound”. He’s still using the ring mod we built for him. From that call came the first FwS device, the legendary FREQue – the best ring mod out there with so many interaction options.
Now we’re developing a range of Eurorack FwS modules. All superbly engineered analogue processors with DACS’ functional uniqueness built in.
- Break on Through is a FET distortion unit based on FwS’ extension of what was originally a microphone level limiter. The basic circuit has been used (abused!) by producers for years, and adapted as a plug in. Three interactive controls, one with an opto linked CV, determine the extent and nature of how far you break through.
- Bring it On is FwS’ much lauded ring mod with its super smooth sound, really low breakthrough, and switchable Weight and Edge controls as loved by FREQue users around the world.
The Break on Through and Bring it On modules are shipping and available to purchase for £198.12 GBP and £192.98 GBP, respectively. Prices ex. VAT.
