fedDSP has announced the release of a frequency-focused saturation effect plugin for Windows and macOS.

SHI is designed to add harmonic weight and emphasis, allowing users to add body and presence to specific frequencies with next-level precision, musicality and control.

SHI feels like a new way to approach guitar-style saturation. Rather than washing the whole signal in drive, it lets you focus the attitude exactly where it matters, making saturation feel more deliberate, flexible, and mix-ready.

Available in VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats, SHI is offered for free until March 31st, 2026. The regular price is £30 GBP.
