FeelYourSound has released version 1.0.0 of its free MIDI generator plugin for Windows and macOS. SongEngine is designed to automatically turn any chord progression into new arpeggios, basslines, and complex piano phrases.
If you don’t have your own chord progressions yet, you can use one of the included chord progression generators, or explore chords by ear with the built-in chord progression builder.
SongEngine is designed to be lightweight and fast. No music theory knowledge is required, but experienced producers will find many tools to build advanced types of chord progressions quickly.
The SongEngine concept is simple:
- Build your chords: Import a MIDI file, drag chords from the Chord Pad Area, or let SongEngine generate a progression for you.
- Pick a preset: Browse dozens of presets — basslines, arpeggios, phrases. Press play in your DAW to preview instantly.
- Drag to your DAW: Like what you hear? Drag & drop the MIDI directly into your session. Done.
