FeelYourSound has released an update to its free MIDI generator plugin for Windows and Mac. Version 1.3.0 of SongEngine comes with some improvements.
SongEngine automatically turns any chord progression into new arpeggios, basslines, and complex piano phrases. If you don’t have your own chord progressions yet, you can use one of the included chord progression generators. You can also explore chords by ear with the built-in chord progression builder. SongEngine is suitable for all genres, and it comes with a big list of presets for all occasions.
Changes in SongEngine v1.3.0
- Chords View: Undo/Redo per Song Part.
- Chords View: Pad Source selector window contains a new button to open the Chord Pad Collections folder in Finder/Explorer.
- Chords View: Right-click a chord on the timeline for the following new actions: “Transpose Chord Progression to other root”, “Transpose all notes one octave up”, “Transpose all notes one octave down”.
The plugin is available in VST/VST3 and AU plugin formats.
