Fine Increments has recently introduced am audio plugin which brings a new approach to spectral processing. A filter modulation plugin that uses animated wavetable frame shapes to carve your audio’s frequency content in real time, Wavefield allows users to morph continuously through 128 unique shapes per wavetable – from subtle surface motion to dramatic sonic mangling.
We built Wavefield because we wanted an effect that didn’t exist: the ability to continuously modulate a filter in complex ways that resemble the surface of water. The result is complex filter fluctuations, formant movements, and spectral evolution that traditional EQ and filter automation can’t replicate.
The plugin comes with various shaping controls, tempo sync, multiple playback modes, a built-in waveform editor, and wavetable import.
