Flame Sound has announced an update to the mix finisher which brings Tomislav Zlatić’s go-to processing workflow in an easy to use plugin featuring 5 intuitive controls to make your tracks and mixes warm, loud, punchy, airy, and thick.
Version 1.1 of VATRA comes with new ignite modes, peak match, value readouts on controls, and AAX support.
VATRA is a loudness enhancer and mix finisher by Flame Sound. Instead of limiting or clipping, it raises low-level detail so your track feels louder and more alive at the same peak level: no pumping, no squashed transients, no harshness.
Changes in VATRA v1.1
- Three Ignite modes: CLEAN, COLOR, and MAX. Same knob, three characters, from transparent mastering lift to heavy density.
- Peak Match: right-click the OUT slider and VATRA sets your output level for you, so the processed peaks line up with your input.
- Value readouts on every control, redesigned metering, and a new Advanced panel.
- AAX support: VATRA now runs in Pro Tools, on Mac and Windows.
A free update for VATRA owners, new customers can purchase the plugin for $49 USD until September 13th, 2026 (regular $69 USD). The plugin comes in VST3, AU and AAX formats for Windows and macOS.
