urshs has released a new Max for Live device which lets users flip MIDI notes in Ableton Live in a random yet controlled way.
Flip Flatten lets you set the root and target notes, dial in a probability, and it can be set to trigger with all notes, or only the root note.
What if you could randomly flip a MIDI note to a completely different pitch — with full control over the probability? That’s exactly what Flip Flatten does.
Flip Flatten is a Max for Live MIDI effect inspired by Mutable Instruments Branches (the Bernoulli gate) from the Eurorack world. It brings that same concept of controlled randomness directly into Ableton Live.
