Force56 Audio Software has released a drum instrument that brings together the complete sound sets of the classic HR-16 and HR-16B drum machines from Alesis.
Rhyzor16 combines 96 original drum sounds (49 from the HR-16, 47 from the HR-16B) in a single plugin, with independent per-pad volume, pan, and the original 32-step tuning range that defined the hardware.
The goal is simple: preserve the character and immediacy of these classic drum machines while making their sounds easy to use inside a modern DAW – no complicated setup, external sample libraries or vintage hardware required.
