FRCTL Audio has announced an update to its audio plugin which combines 6 distinct movement effect. Version 1.1.0 of SWRL adds A/B comparison, LFO shape selection, and an expanded preset library.
A/B comparison is now built into the preset bar. Two parameter snapshots can be stored independently and toggled instantly, left-click the A/B button to switch sides, right-click to copy settings from one to the other. Snapshots save with the project.
The modulation engine gains a waveform selector with four shapes: Sine, Triangle, Square, and Saw. The selector sits next to the Rate knob and applies to Drift, Orbit, and Flutter. Square and Saw use an internal smoother to keep transitions click-free on delay-modulating effects.
The factory preset library more than doubles, from 31 presets across 7 categories to 66 across 12. New categories are Guitar & Keys, Rhythmic, Wide & Evolving, and Subtle & Utility.
The randomizer now covers the full parameter set, LFO shape, per-effect bandpass, and output filters, rather than effect amounts alone.
SWRL for Windows, macOS, and Linux (VST3, AU, and CLAP) is available to purchase for $19.99 USD. The update is free for existing users.
