Fred Anton Corvest has announced an update to its iOS app for managing your plugin collection.
Version 2.2.0 of AUBE 2 now includes an AUv3 hosting environment for instantly exploring and testing your installed plugins. Users can preview audio effects, instruments, and MIDI effects directly within AUBE and evaluate them in seconds.
AUBE is the app you need to get your collection organized! Get a clear overview of your plugins and access a regularly updated catalog of all the plugins available on the market.
Your effects and instruments are automatically organized and grouped by type. You can easily preview your AUv3 plugins and access all the detailed information, including group, category, features, and more. Browsing through your plugins is quick and easy!
A direct and focused host workflow designed entirely for fast plugin preview and evaluation, users can play instruments from the integrated keyboard, connect external MIDI devices, bypass audio effects, export parameter trees to JSON files, run structured tests (AU validation), and inspect plugin behavior without unnecessary setup or distractions.
The update also adds a new floating menu at the top of the dashboard diamond for easy access to freebies, the catalog for your current device, and more. It also comes with various improvements and bug fixes.
A free update for existing AUBE 2 users, new customers can get a 30% discount on a purchase until June 6th, 2026 (regular $19.99 USD).
