Agastya Jindal has introduced a free audio plugin which aims to deliver an all-in-one solution for your guitar tones.
Available for free while in alpha development, Aethis features a native multi-voice engine, allowing users to stack, detune, and pan multiple voices inside a single instance. The plugin delivers a massive tone without the headache of complex track routing, and handles heavy processing without a heavy strain on the CPU.
Aethis features
- 4-voice real-time harmonizer built on the Aether pitch engine. Set a key and scale, and it figures out the right intervals for you. No theory degree required.
- 3 amplifiers, 5 neural amp models — each trained on real tube amplifier hardware using Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) technology. Noctis and Vesper each feature two switchable channels.
- Studio rack with everything between your guitar and the amp output. Boost, compression, overdrive, gate, EQ, chorus, delay, reverb, and cabinet IRs.
- CPU-friendly Aether Engine which handles all the neural inference, pitch detection, and effects processing under the hood.
Aethis (alpha v0.22) is available in VST3 and AU plugin formats and as standalone software for Windows and macOS.
