Afroplug wrote in to share about a free drum instrument plugin. Released earlier this year, the Afroplugin features a collection of drum sounds suitable for music genres such as Dancehall, R&B, Reggaeton, Lo-fi, Afrobeats, and more.
The plugin comes with 120 sounds and 10 presets. The drum sounds are assigned to 12 pads, which can be mixed and panned within the plugin. Afroplugin also includes a lowpass/highpass filter, an ADSR envelope, reverb and saturation, pitch, and a main volume control.
Available for Windows and Mac in VST and AU formats, the plugin is a free download (donations are welcome).
A free edition of the Afro Keyz instrument is also available. It includes 6 of the 40 instruments included in the full version, which costs $13.99 USD.
