Groove Music Industries has recently released a free pattern-based arpeggiator that allows users to edit both the arp pattern and the chord layer directly inside the plugin.
Arponaut can also route MIDI from your DAW into either section, which deliver a more flexible workflows than a standard arp.
A pattern-based arpeggiator where you can create both the arp pattern and chord progression inside the plugin.
Quickly sketch basslines, melodies, or chord patterns and experiment with different harmonic ideas.
Arponaut features
- Pattern + Chords: Edit the Pattern lane and the Chords lane. Most arps only give you a pattern. Arponaut lets you shape both.
- Flexible MIDI routing: Send DAW MIDI into the Pattern lane, the Chords lane, or both. Mix “played” material with edited parts inside the plugin.
- Previously impossible workflows: Because chords are editable too, routing MIDI into the Pattern lane opens up combinations that standard arpeggiators just can’t do.
- Spark creativity fast: Play, tweak, and experiment until it surprises you. Perfect for finding fresh melodies and rhythmic ideas in seconds.
Available in VST3 plugin format for Windows and macOS, Arponaut is a “pay what you like” download, including free.
