Jeesonic has introduced a new metering effect plugin for Windows and macOS (VST3/AU). Metering Cockpit shows loudness, level, dynamics, spectrum, stereo correlation and waveform side by side in one window.
The Jeesonic Metering Cockpit is a loudness metering plug-in with a flexible frequency analyzer and monitoring aids. It shows what is going on in you mix: loudness to BS.1770-4, peak level, dynamics, spectrum, stereo correlation, waveform, and a loudness history.
Metering Cockpit features
- Loudness to BS.1770-4. Momentary, Short-Term and gated Integrated, loudness range to EBU Tech 3342, and a true peak with four-times oversampling.
- Crest factor as a bar. Dynamic headroom as a length next to the level columns, green for plenty of headroom, red for material squashed close to its peak.
- Loudness history. The recent past over a span between 15 seconds and 5 minutes, with a target line you can drag up or down.
- Octave to 1/24 octave analyzer. Wide bars show the tonal balance of the mix. Narrow ones find the single note that rings. There are five steps between the two, plus a linear view.
- Listening aids. A reference track can take the place of the mix at its own level. The low, mid and high ranges can be soloed, and a single band of the analyzer can be heard on its own.
