MFKNE has introduced a series of free effect plugins, each of which folds several sound-shaping factors into a single plugin so the controls react to each other instead of sitting in a long chain.
Simple surfaces, no clutter, no gimmicks. What makes these plugins different is not a louder interface, it is the combination inside: several sound-shaping factors that usually live in separate plugins, brought together so they react to each other.
The series currently includes:
- GLITCHRUIN glitch & ruin: Host-synced beat-repeat, waveshaping and bitcrush under one macro. From subtle stutter to total collapse.
- TAPESWRECK unstable tape echo: A tape delay with a worn transport. Real wow and flutter, capstan pitch glide and self-oscillating drift.
- TEXTURETAP transient textures: Detects every hit and layers a short percussive texture on top, morphing from paper to wood to metal.
- PULSEMELT self-ducking space engine: Delay, reverb, tape-to-bitcrush morph and pitch drift in one tail that ducks under every transient by itself.
- PUNCHDUST character dynamics engine: Transient shaping, reactive lo-fi texture and upward compression that pulls the sustain up, with the peaks locked to unity.
The plugins are available to download in VST3 formats for Windows and macOS.
