Okay Synthesizer has announced the release of a new distortion effect plugin. Taken from the Bingo drum machine, Okay Distortion features 6 algorithms (bitcrusher, sample rate reducer, wavefolder, soft clipper, hard clipper, and a Rat/DS-1 pedal blend) in a drag-to-reorder signal chain with a feedback path and a live transfer-function display.
This was never supposed to be a product. We built this distortion engine inside Bingo Drum Machine — and producers wouldn’t stop talking about it. So we pulled it out, gave it its own signal chain, and gave it away.
The plugin is available to download in VST3 and AU formats for Windows and macOS.
