Pinzu has recently released a collection of mixing effect plugins for Windows (VST3). Spanning an equalizer, compressor, limiter, de-esser, clipper and tape saturation effect, the SORYNO series comes in free and paid Pro editions with additional features.
- SORYNO EQ: Sets the balance between the frequency ranges. The tool a mix is built on. Pro: 8 bands, dynamic EQ, Mid/Side, linear phase, 112 presets.
- SORYNO COMP: Evens out the level, and shows you what it is doing while it does it. Pro: Side-chain with its own filters, parallel mix, knee/RMS/look-ahead, 6 character models, 38 presets.
- SORYNO LIMIT: The last stage before export. It raises the loudness and keeps the output under the ceiling. Pro: True-peak limiting, 4 character models, dither and noise shaping, 24 presets.
- SORYNO DEESS: Tames harsh sibilance on vocals. You can listen to only the part being removed. Pro: Split-band, width and timing control, automatic threshold, Mid/Side, 36 presets.
- SORYNO CLIP: A clipper that shaves the peaks off. The part it removed is drawn right on the waveform. Free edition only.
- SORYNO TAPE: A tape saturator for adding to a sound. The glowing dot on the transfer curve shows how hard you are driving it. Pro not available yet.
The Pro editions are available at a launch price of 500 JPY each (~$3 USD) until October 9th, 2026 (regular 1,980 JPY (~$13 USD). The free versions are fully-functional without time limit or activation.
