Urshs has announced the release of a streamlined Max for Live utility designed to completely eliminate the tedious menu-diving and track routing usually required to capture MIDI in Ableton Live.
The concept behind Print to Clip is focus and speed. Users simply drop the device at the end of any track’s device chain and hit play in Ableton to record their arps, sequencers, or generative MIDI tools. The moment the user hits stop, the device automatically prints and places the fresh MIDI clip directly into the first available session slot on that same track.
By removing the friction of setting up dedicated resampling tracks, Print to Clip allows electronic music producers to stay in a continuous creative flow state. The device features a clean, minimal user interface that blends natively into the Ableton Live ecosystem.
