mfkne has announced the release of two free effect plugins for Windows and macOS.
Delivering stacked octaves driven into a fuzz, TONEBLEED is for tracks that are technically finished and still sound like nothing. It multiplies the signal before it distorts, so the fuzz saturates a chord instead of a single note.
BLEED stacks drifting unison voices and octave copies, FUZZ drives them into a two stage pedal that gets darker the harder you push it, GRAIN cuts the result into grains locked to the host tempo, and AGE pulls the whole thing over a tape machine that has seen better days. Wide open, one note turns into a wall. Backed off, it is a quiet thickener for anything.
GRAINWASH is a delay and reverb hybrid whose shimmer breathes in time. It swells on the subdivisions of the host tempo and opens where the source falls away, so the space answers the phrase instead of sitting behind it.
SPACE runs from a short room to almost four seconds of tail, SHIMMER is a granular octave plus a tuned resonator, GRAIN sets the grain size as a note value, and WASH slows the tape down to a quarter of studio speed. At SPACE zero the plugin is a cable and the dry path stays bit identical.
The plugins are available to download in VST3 format for Windows and macOS.
