DCAM EnvShaper takes a different approach to controlling dynamics than conventional compressors. It allows you to adjust the attack and sustain portions of transients within a signal. The technique has all kinds of uses such as increasing the punch of attacks or the apparent size of a sound’s reverb, or for problem-solving tasks like reducing bleed levels in drum mics without using a noise gate.

DCAM EnvShaper also includes a modelled saturation circuit and control over its response to transients of different speeds, providing additional flexibility and creative possibilities.

The Rack Extension is now available to purchase for $29 USD / 25 EUR inc. VAT.
