Boutique audio tools developer Lese has returned with another creative plugin. Designed for creating dynamic, evolving, layered looping structures, Slice is a dynamic slicer that can be used as a random looper or as a more granular-centric effect.
Making use of multiple control systems, Slice controls multiple granular “loopers” simultaneously, over an audio buffer that can be frozen & resized in real time.
Slice is designed to be controlled “loosely”, similar to Frahm, where the controls influence multiple sound processors at once, but Slice also offers control schemes to control the loopers more precisely.
The plugin features multiband processing of the individual loopers (up to 9), transient snapping, an XY pad to position and spread control of loopers, adjustable drift and windowing shape, and more.
Available in VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats for Windows and Mac, Slice is priced $35 USD.
