Emmy-winning producer, composer and guitarist Adi Rotem has launched the first in a new line of effect plugins for Windows and macOS.
A reverb with a moving tail, Anise pitch-glides up or down and re-triggers on each new note, turning pads, keys, guitars and vocals into evolving, harmonized washes.
Where a classic shimmer reverb adds a fixed octave sheen, Anise starts at unison and glides continuously toward a target pitch, so notes and chords bloom upward (or downward) over the length of the tail.
Two spaces (Hall and Plate) plus glide time and glide curve controls take it from a subtle shimmer to full cascading movement.
Anise features
- Pitch glide from unison to any target between -12 and +12 semitones, with continuous fine tuning.
- Glide time from 30 ms up to 10 seconds.
- Built-in transient detection retriggers the glide on each new note, with an adjustable sensitivity control.
- Four glide curves: Linear, Exponential Up, Exponential Down and S-Curve.
- Hall and Plate reverb modes with decay times from 0.4 to 10 seconds.
- Tone control that darkens or brightens the tail, plus dry/wet mix.
- Resizable interface (75% to 150%) and a full set of factory presets.
