GothDSP has introduced a line of guitar plugins for Windows, each a complete chain of tuner, pedals, amp, and cab in one.
Spanning modern metal, groove metal, hard rock, twin-guitar harmony, and lo-fi indie tape character, the lineup includes a polyphonic detune feature on Requiem that drops tuning from -12 to +12 semitones on full chords without touching the strings, and a harmonizer on Septem that follows a played note and answers with an in-key harmony through its own separate amp.
Five plugins built for metal and lo-fi indie: amps, pedals, polyphonic detune, twin-guitar harmonies and a real tape deck. Plug in and play.
GothDSP plugins
- Requiem: 3-channel high-gain metal amp with a clean channel, six pedals, Descent polyphonic detune, and a 6/7/8-string tuner.
- Septem: Twin-guitar harmonizer (Twin, 5 scales) paired with its own amp and wah, for playing lead and harmony at once.
- Vulgaris: Groove metal amp spanning seven eras from tube crunch to solid-state, with a ±2 octave whammy and wah.
- Fuscus: Plexi-style amp on a Variac (Umber) across seven eras, with tape echo, phaser, and a BBD flanger.
- Somnia: Lo-fi indie chain built around a Cassette tape deck module (Portastudio, Walkman, Dictaphone, VHS-style wow, flutter, hiss) with 7 pedals.
Currently available for Windows (VST3 and standalone, macOS version in development), the plugins are priced €49 – €69 EUR each (or from €5.99 EUR/month), with a 30% launch discount offered with coupon LANCEMENT30 at the checkout.
