GS DSP has announced the release of a Lite version of its Quantum Delay, an effect plugin which takes the charm of a vintage stereo delay and fuses it with GS DSP’s next-level modulation system.
Switch between the warm character of Tape mode and the pristine clarity of Fade mode, lock to BPM (including 5-tuplets) or dial in precise times in milliseconds. Use the Fine control for subtle push-and-pull micro-timing — or modulate your delay lines in ways traditional delays could only dream of.
Available as a free download for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and AAX) and iOS, Quantum Delay Lite offers the same sound quality, all delay algorithms and the modulation system, sync delay to DAW, lowpass filter, feedback and presets. All Lite presets can be imported into the full version.
GS DSP has also updated all its plugins to 2026.0:
- Added Copy-Paste functionality to the Modulation System: Copy any modulator and paste it into another slot.
- Show all modulators as turned off if globally turned off to avoid confusion.
- Improved area for lock toggles.
- Improved activation window and notification popup layouts.
- Fixed a few issues for Gate & Trigger modes in combination with unipolar modulators & Custom LFO.
- MagicDelay on iOS: If possible MagicDelay now auto chooses max delay time based on memory.
- MagicPitch & MagicFusion: Added Lock to FX amount slider, if active presets won’t affect the FX amount.
The update is free for existing users.
