And another year flew by! We’re ringing in the new year at my mother-in-law’s place, watching the the fireworks from the 6th floor of her apartment building.
Looking back at 2025, it’s been a bit of a challenging year with some water leaks in our house leading to a full bathroom renovation, which I can tell you is quite challenging with 4 kids and 2 cats in the house. Talking of children, with all of them now adolescent, it’s also been a year of trying to manage screen time and provide healthy alternatives, social media and peer pressure issues, dealing with things like motor scooters… Sometimes I long for the days of baby strollers and diapers 🤣
As for Rekkerd, I had planned to somehow mark its 20-year anniversary, but I’ve been so busy trying to keep up with everything that I didn’t find time to properly set something up. Maybe I’ll get to it this year!
