Heavyocity Media has announced the release of an unconventional and inspiring percussion library, borne from the mechanical world.
With over 720 unique playable sources and over 280 loops, housed in the Damage 2 engine, Damage Machina delivers the texture, grit, and character needed to craft distinctive, evocative grooves and beats.
Heavyocity partnered with acclaimed sound designer, Robert Dudzic, known for his field recordings and percussive flare in the movie trailer and film industries. Dudzic’s work can be heard across more than 250 trailer campaigns and in scores by composers like Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe, Jacob Shea, and more. His style, in combination with Heavyocity’s expertise and careful curation, created a truly one-of-a-kind percussion library.
Chock-full of over 9,000 samples and 2.6 GB of clanks, clangs, and churns of industrial cogs, typewriters, steam engines, antique tractors, pinball machines, and countless other mechanical oddities, Damage Machina is a uniquely inspiring percussion tool designed for modern composers and producers.
Available for Kontakt and the free Kontakt Player, Damage Machina is on sale at Plugin Boutique and from the Heavyocity store for the intro price of $119 USD until May 30th, 2025 (regular $149 USD). Owners of Damage or Damage 2 will get an additional $20 USD off with registered serial.
